Self-Employed Registered Nutrition Professional (RNP) - Various UK regions.

The Early Years Nutrition Partnership (EYN Partnership) is a unique social enterprise operating in early years nutrition created in partnership with the Pre-School Learning Alliance, the British Nutrition Foundation and Danone Early Life Nutrition. The EYN Partnership has an ambition to improve future outcomes of young children by setting a standard for nutrition practice in UK nurseries. Central to this is a network of self-employed Registered Nutrition Professionals.

After the success of our visit to Childcare Expo in Manchester in June we are absolutely delighted to announce that we are also attending the Midlands show at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 29th and 30th September!

May marked one year on since the EYN Partnership was formed and a chance for our Nutrition Professionals to share some of their great successes, including an acknoweldgement from Ofsted! We also shared tips and recipes for National Vegetarian Week, encouraged activity for National Walking Month and blogged for Childcare Expo in advance of the exhibition.

We are delighted to share news of the achievements of one of the nurseries within the EYN Partnership family. Tender Years Day Nursery in Solihull has achieved an Outstanding rating from Ofsted, whose report made reference to their commitment to the EYN Partnership, as an example of how personal development, behaviour and welfare are viewed as outstanding at the nursery.

In April we celebrated Easter and posted a blog with ideas about how to celebrate in style with some healthier recipes! We asked for your advice with a new survey, welcomed new joiners to the EYN Partnership family, and got on the road with our camera to go and see Tender Years Day Nursery in Solihull.

March saw in Nutrition and Hydration Week. To spread the word about the importance of nutrition and hydration in the early years, the EYN Partnership published an A to Z guide on the topic and got out and about presenting at an early years conference in London. New blogs provided some tips on how to enjoy  Mother's Day and St Patrick's Day the healthy way. And our team of Nutrition Professionals provided great advice on how settings can improve children's nutrition, through more new blogs and videos.

In February we were busy at conferences spreading the word about the EYN Partnership to early years practitioners and stakeholders. We celebrated National Pizza Day and Pancake Day with some healthy ideas for you and your little ones, gave you our advice about pre-schooler's tooth care, and gave you an informative A-Z guide to what the EYN Partnership is all about!

In January we decided to throwback and share our write up of our year in 2016, as well as looking back on our launch event at the Houses of Parliament. We had a new blog to share with you from the EYN Partnership’s registered nutritionist Catherine Lippe, shedding light on what exactly should go in a pre-schooler’s lunchbox, as well as a brilliant guest blog from Professor Pinki Sahota of Leeds Beckett University.
